Great Northern SPA – Pure relaxation for design lovers

Great Northern is an international class golf resort in the picturesque town of Kerteminde located at the Danish East Coast. In May 2019, the Great Northern SPA was opened. KMD delivered the complete stone work for this project in thirteen months building time.

A total of 2,300 square meters of Nero Assoluto Zimbabwe CG walls and flooring in a flamed + brushed finish were installed in shower rooms and baths, pool surrounds, various saunas, staircases and corridors.

One challenge was the careful selection of 800 square meters of light Silver Quartzite for the spacious Aqua Spa with its infinity pool, salt and panoramic pools - all with stunning views of the surrounding nature.

Nordic architecture and design provide the framework for total relaxation and well-being. At 4,500 square meters, the Great Northern SPA offers guests an extensive range of treatment and therapy experiences.
